k, so i was reading my webcomics this morning like always, and the date just reached out and smacked me in the face. BAM Sept 1~! and i just kinda stare at it for a sec before i realize that my birthday is in 9 days... and i'm turning old-years-old. (dramatic music here)

no, seriously. like a quarter of a century. once you can start adding modifiers to the word century without sounding contrived, it must mean you're turning old, right? 100-divide-by-4!! TWENTY-FIVE people!

what does this mean to me? does it mean i need to finish school finally and get a real job with food not as the prime directive? do i have to find some nice girl and settle down? am i obligated to stop messing around with pop culture, video games, and loud music?

of COURSE it does! well... all except that last bit... stop having fun... can you imagine? /shudder at the thought

actually, i do plan on beginning the steps to finish my colleging. i just missed the deadline for this semester is all... in the spring, i will be finally picking a major, namely linguistics, with poetry as my minor, and that'll probably take about three to four more semesters to finish up. what on earth job i could do with that??...your guess is as good as mine. also, my girlfriend, who i've dated over the internet for a bit over TWO YEARS, is planning on moving to Tucson and buying a house very soon so that we can be together. the seriousness of that sentence is enough to convey how certain she is that i'm the one for her. and i couldn't be any more thrilled.
