so there's all kindsa stuff that happened since the last time i wrote anything here. i'll just start from the earliest.

my parents got divorced last Aug. i wasn't very happy about it, needless to say. it might have been one of the reasons i stopped checking my messages here. i've tried to bring them back down, but they just keep piling up. i don't know if i'll ever get them back down without clearing them all. i've got 7,418 deviations i haven't checked right now.
i got a job delivering pizza for a local chain back in Oct. they have a "no ponytail, no facial hair" policy, so that had to go. i miss my ponytail. i'm still working there, and i should be getting a raise soon.
after that, sometime in Nov i think, i bought my first car. it's a white Nissan Sentra. i love this car. i've driven in a fair number of vehicles, but Nissan's my favorite now.
then, in early Dec, right before the semester was about to end, my girlfriend of 2+ years broke up with me. don't ask me about it, not that anyone reads my journals anyway.
then i kinda coasted through more school and work for another semester. during this semester, my computer, which i had built back in 2002, finally gave out on me. it was the mother board, and there was no salvaging it. it's still broken, and i don't have a replacement. i haven't been able to afford it, but now with this raise, i should finally be pulling in enough to build a new one, fully top of the line. i'm psyched for it.
my dad got remarried in June. she's a really great person, so i'm happy for him. my sibs and i got flown out to Ohio for the wedding. that's where most of her family lives. my sister and i sang. everyone was pretty impressed with the groom's kids. XD
my friend, ~VernionatorX, and i finally started the webmanga we'd been talking about since high school. it got a good start, but he hasn't drawn anything in a while, so we're on an involuntary (on my part) hiatus. you should check it out anyway. we'll update ~GeniemWorlds again eventually. hopefully sooner than later. cheer us on, it might make Vern more productive.
again in July, i went to San Diego Comic-con, but this time with a group of friends. it was pretty awesome, just like last year, but i think, comparatively, last year was better. there was just a better crowd of people i wanted to see last year. but it was made generally more fun by being in a group.
after summer, i finally transferred into a real college. i'm now a student at the University of Arizona, working toward a language major/creative writing minor, focusing on Japanese and poetry. i'd like to work Russian and German into there at some point, but maybe not while i'm still in college. that might be something to pursue after i graduate.
but the biggest surprise so far was that i met someone. right before school started again, i fell in love with a wonderful woman i met online. it's been about two months, and we're pretty serious. i don't know where we'll go from here, but i have a good feeling.

well, that's a pretty vague synopsis of what i've been up to while i wasn't paying attention to dA. still, it gives you an idea of what i'm up to, not that anyone really cares. XP i write these mostly to keep track for myself, anyway, but comment if you stumble across this, if you like.
